the renowned interior designer Tomio Mohri, who exquisitely combines his innovative vision for
space design with the superb craftsmanship of textiles.

Unusual Rehearsal
Junko Kshino's show is being rehearsed in an unusual way ...
It should be only done with those involved.
The rehearsal today, however, seems to be quite different.
In what way ...?
Look at this ! It's NOT a school festival.
It's the student who are eagerly waiting for the rehearsal.
On top of that, there are some elementary school students as well.
I was pretty surprised to see that, but I learned later on that it was a present from Ms Koshino !!
" Usually fashion shows can be only seen by the invitees ... "
says Ms Koshino.
This idea was realised to give the kids and high schoolers a chance to experience LIVE fashion shows.

Running the Show !!
Running the Show !!
It goes without saying that there are so many staff members working at the collection.
Especially the director plays a significant part in organising the show, from technical things like lighting and sound engineering to directing the models.
When you visit the Collection next, please try spotting the director. Usually the director is somewhere he/she can see the whole catwalk.

The People Who Support the Collection
Now, the Collection is just about to start!
That is when things behind the scene are like this.
The backstage staff receives the director's guidance through the headphones
and controls things like the order of models and outfit changes.
On the wall are photos of the outfits.
The stylist looks at these photos and
checks that the models are wearing the right bag, belt and other small items.

The big audience fascinated by the show.
Every set of eyes are fixed on the runway.
And the models looking cool and walking proudly on it.

Professionalism
All the collection photos on the JFW's official website were taken by professional photographers.
Their professionalism drives them to the pursuit of perfection.
Even during rehearsal, their sharp eyes are focussed on the models.
And there are many integral elements of the show.
It's really hard because everything needs to be altered for each show.
These are all quite invisible but all shows are
supported by many staff members like them !!
