RITSUKO SHIRAHAMA
Graduated from Seikei University Department of English and American Literature. After graduating from Vantan Design Institute in 1980, Shirahama joined Alpha Cubic. In 1983, she joined Almond Eye and set up RITSUKO SHIRAHAMA the following year. Made her debut at the Tokyo Collection in 1988. Joined Paris Atmosphere in 1995 and began shipping products to Europe and United States in 1996. Since then her brand has been sold at 50 shops in ten countries around the world. She opened her Daikanyama shop in 1999. The brand moved into Shinjuku Isetan and Barneys New York Ginza and Shinjuku shops in 2005.
Shirahama also judges at the New Designer Fashion Grand Prix.
