Born in Kobe in 1973. At the age of 18, Koike set himself the goal of becoming independent within a decade. He achieved the goal one year ahead of schedule. Through self-education, he learned about clothes manufacture and set up his original brand sisii. Wholesaling to BEAMS triggered an expansion to select shops. To boost the local industry of Hyogo, his designs focus on leather wear.
1991: Joined BEAMS Co., Ltd. Learned distribution and acquired product knowledge through his sales activities.
1994: Joined WTRT. Learns how to set up an original brand by working as an import brand buyer and by being involved in store management.
2000: Set up a company, Au Gre Du Vent.
