Keisuke Yoshida : 27 years old, born on the 30th of July 1978. Graduate of Kanagawa University in Law. Spent three years as a stylist and freelance assistant editor. Then became freelance and mainly worked for magazines and motion graphics. Has regularly participated in Tokyo Collection since his Spring/Summer 2005 debut runway show.
Kohji Maeda : 27 years old, born on the 16th of October 1978. Became independent and founded his own label in 2002. Presented his first JEWELS collection in an exhibition format in 2003. Joined by Yoshida, Maeda collaborated on their Spring/Summer 2005 Collection with the Paris and New York based graphic arts group Surface 2 Air. Also started to sell to a Los Angeles based shop this year and to expand internationally. Has worked on regular projects with the studded craft label SKULL and shoemaker TST.
