Born in Tokyo in 1966. Finished Fashion Design Course at Joshibi University of Art and Design. Completed 1st year at ESMODJAPON and entered Studio Bercot in Paris. Completed 1st year and was employed by HUIT ZUCCA in 1988. Worked for TC(Tsumori Chisato) from 1997. Worked for BIGI co.,ltd from 2000 and in 2001, Utsugi launched FRAPBOIS. Began to work forA-net in 2005 and launched her new label mercibeaucoup.In 2006.
