Born in Tokyo. Graduate of a Swiss high school Institut Le Rosey and of Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Apparel Design, Joined JUN ASHIDA as a designer in 1988. Debuted her “Miss Ashida” runway collection in Tokyo in 1991 and has showcased her works semiannually, Her wide-ranging work includes articles in the women’s magazines and TV commentaries. Author of “Oshare no Seitoh (roughly translated ‘Mainstream Fashion’)”
