Born in 1965. Studied industrial design at university and went on to work as a designer for a major shoemaker. Moved over to the US in 1995 and shortly after coming back to Japan, Johjima launched his own Capitol Hill Product and presented his first menswear collection for Autumn/Winter 1997. Renamed the label TEI*JOHJIMA/CAPITOL HILL PRODUCT and started his womenswear line for Autumn/Winter 2001 Collection. Renamed the label once again TEI:JOHJIMA/GRANVILLE JACKET for Autumn/Winter 2006.
